Scientists Invent's Night-Vision Material
A team of US scientists have invented an night-vision material that emits two weeks of night vision light after just minute's of exposure to sun light. The material consist of phosphorescent material and paint. The material combines the well-known near infrared-light emitter
trivalent chromium ion with zinc gallogermanates - a complex oxide
compound.
Prof Pan one of the scientist said the substance could also help develop next-generation solar energy cells thanks to its efficiency at collecting and storing sunlight. This near-infrared material could also offer the military "secret" illumination at nighttime and revolutionize diagnostic medicine.
