Acer To Launch Iconia A200 Tab in India

Acer has announced the launch of Iconia Tab A200 and is expected to be launched this month in India. Iconia A200 has a 10.1 inch touchscreen and run on Android v3.2 Honeycomb OS which will later be upgraded to Android v4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich OS. A200 will have Nvidia Tegra 2 dual-core 1Ghz processor with 1GB of DDR2 RAM. It will have a 2MP front facing camera, full size USB port, a microSD slot and Acer Socila Jogger features.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 730 Now Available Online

Samsung Galaxy Tab 730 is now available online in India via Flipkart.com and Letsbuy.com. The Galaxy Tab 730 has 8.9 TFT inch display and runs on Androids v3.1 Honeycomb OS. It has Nvidi's dual-core Tegra 2 Processor with 1GB of RAM, a 3MP camera with HD recording and auto-focus feature and a secondary 2MP front facing camera. The Tab will have TouchWiz 4.0 UI and have 30 pin port to connect to power adapter or transfer cable. Other feature include Bluetooth 3.0, HSPA+ connectivity, Wi-Fi and 3G. The Flipkart and Letbuys lists the price of Rs.30,900 for this tab.

HTC Quattro to be Launch by Early 2012

HTC has indicated that it will launch a Tegra 3 quad core tablet Quattro next year. The Quattro will run on Androids v4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich OS and have 10.1 inch touch screen display, 1GB RAM, rear 2MP and 1.3MP front HD camera. The tablet will have 16GB of internal storage, WiFi, Bluetooth and HTC scribe pen. HTC may launch Quattro by Feb-March 2012.

Lenovo to Launch Tegra 3 Android Based Tablet

Lenovo will launch a new tablet with Nvidia Tegra 3 processor by the end of this year. The tablet would run on Android v4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich OS. The tablet will have 10.1 inch touchscreen display, 2GB RAM, a rear camera and a USB port. Tegra 3 processoris a new generation Sysytem-On-Chip from Nvidia.The Tegra 3 has quad core ARM Cortex-A9 MPCore that clocks upto 1.4GHz. It supports 3D stereo and has 40nm process by TMSC.

Nokia to Launch Windows based Tablet Next Year

Nokia will launch Windows based tablet in June 2012. Nokia with its recent launch of windows based  smartphones now announced that it will launch an Microsoft Windows based tablet. Paul Amsellen, head of Nokia France said "In June 2012, we will have an tablet that runs on Windows 8" in an interview with an French newspaper.

Huawei Launched Two Smartphones & a Tab in India

Huawei today launched two Android run smartphones and a tablet alone with its cloud services in India. The two smartphones are Huawei Sonic and Huawei Ideos X3. Huawei Sonic has an 3.5 inch capacity touch display, it would run on Androids v2.3 Gingerbread OS and has a 600 MHz processor with 256MB of RAM, it will have 512MB of on-board storage and 20GB of additional storage (4GB of bundled microSD card and 16GB on the cloud drive). The phone has a 3.2MP camera and will have an expandable memory upto 32 GB. The price of this handset is around Rs.9,210. Huawei Ideos X3 will also run on Android v2.3 OS, the phone has same specs has the Huawei Sonic but will also have Bluetooth, USB and WiFi connectivity. The X3 is priced at Rs.10.229. Sony to Launch S and P Tablets in India Soon

Sony to soon launch the S and P tablet in India by the end of this month. The S tablet has an 9.4inch display with 1280x800 pixel resolution runs on Android Honeycomb OS, it has an dual-core Nvidia Tegra 2 mobile processor with 1GB RAM, an 5MP rear and 0.3MP front camera. The S tablet is available in 16GB and 32GB version. The Sony P tablet has an dualscreen design,it has an 5.5inch touchscreens with 1024x480 pixel resolution which also runs on Android Honeycomb OS ans also have the same dual-core Nvidia Tegra 2 mobile processor. This tablet has a 5MP camera at the back and 0.3MP camera in the front.

Dell To Soon Launch Latitude ST Tablet

Dell will launch its Latitude ST Tablet in India soon, it will be run on Windows 7 operating system. The tablet has a a 10 inch multi-touch display with a stylus, Intel Atom Z670 processor with 2GB DDR2 SDRAM. It will have an 5MP rear camera with HD recording and also have an front camera, an 128 GB storage through solid state hard drive. The Dell Latitude ST weighs 816g, the other features include 3G, WiFi, AGPS, Bluetooth 4.0, USB 2.0, a Memory card reader. It connects to projectors, printers, and other devices using built-in ports.

Coming Soon An Improved Aakash 2 Tablet

Aakash 2 tablet will be launched in February 2012. HRD minister Kapil Sibal said “We expect to launch the new version of Aakash by January-February next year”. The new Aakash will have the same price as the old one, Rs 2,276. It will have an 800Mhz processor as compared to the present 366Mhz processor, 1GB of RAM more than than present 256MB one. Aakash 2 will also have an front facing camera for video chatting and an better 7 inch display.

HP will Launch Windows 8 Tablet

HP has said that it will launch a Windows 8 based Tablet next year. Meg Whitman, HP Chief Executive said, “We’re at the beginning stages of a new segment. I hardly think that we’re too late, the work we’re doing with Microsoft is extraordinarily compelling, ultraportables are compelling.” She also said that the HP will soon launch its Windows 8 Tablet next year. HP recently unveiled a Windows 7 based Slate in October. Priced at $799, the device is powered by a 1.86GHz Intel Atom Z540, 2GB of RAM, 64GB of internal memory and will have 1080p video feature. There’s also a front facing camera and a 3MP rear one. The 8.9-inch device runs Windows 7 Professional and HP targeted the enterprise and business market.

Coming Soon Viewsonic ViewPad 7e

Viewsonic has already launched ViewPad 7 in India at the price tag of Rs.15,000. The upcoming low-cost tablet, called Viewpad 7e, would run on Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS with a 1Ghz Arm Cortex-A8 processor and 512 MB DDR2 SDRAM. The bad news is that the tablet's 7 inch display with 800 x 600 pixel resolution will have a resistive touchscreen which will not be an plus feature of the ViewPad. Viewsonic ViewPad 7e is outfitted with a rear camera of 3 megapixels as well as a front camera which is of 0.3 megapixels. Apart from this, it chains WiFi 802.11 b/g/n and Bluetooth 2.1. It also enhances the gaming features with the help of Adobe flash 10.3, web media and video steaming. It comes with an internal memory of 8GB and an microSD card slot for increasing the  memory capacity of this tablet up to 32 GB. The Viewsonic ViewPad 7e maybe priced at around Rs.10,000.

Asus Transformer 2 Tab will be Launched on Nov 9

The Asus Transformer 2 or Prime tablet will be launched by November 9, Jonney Shih, Chairman of Asus said. Asus Transformer Prime tablet will be 8.3 mm thick, with a 10 inch display and 1 GB of RAM. The new Asus Eee Pad Transformer Prime will have a five core bearing Nvidia Tegra 3 System on chip codenamed as Kal-El. The new age quad-core processor, code named Kal El, is thus named after Superman's birth name and is the first such processor for ultra portable devices like smartphones and tablets. Out of the five different computing cores, the processor will independently choose which and how many cores are to be used to give the best possible performance. The date for Asus Transformer 2 launch in India is still not announced, but the possibility are that it may be launched at the end of this year.

HCL Launches ME X1 Tablet for Rs.10,490

HCL has launched ME X1 tablet at the price tag of Rs.10,490. HCL now has entered the tablet market with the business with its launch of ME X1. Mr Harsh Chitale, CEO, HCL Infosystems, said " The X1 ME promises to bring great value by re-defining on-the-go user exprience with its innovative design, display and technology." The 7-inch tab will have to face the competition from the Reliance 3G Tab and the Beetel Magiq which are already in the market. Features of ME X1: 7-inch Capacitive WVGA touchscreen, Android 2.3 - Gingerbread OS, 1 GHz Cortex A8 processor, 2 MP Camera, Support HD video contents, 512 MB RAM, with 4GB internal memory. The ME also comes with an app store that consists of 10,000 apps for all its users. With such low price and great features on offer ME would be an great buy for the Indian customers.
