Android's Ice Cream Sandwich OS



The Adroids newest OS-Ice Cream Sandwich which is scheduled to be launched with the Samsung Nexus Prime, above are the leaked images of the OS on a tech site TechCrunch. The OS will have the Honeycomb-style like interface which is been used by the tablets which have holographic UI(User Interface), resizeable widgets, multitasking panel and app launcher.

 The OS will also fave recognition and USB hub features. Google chrome will also debut in the Ice Cream Sandwich and also a new Google Music app. Samsung to launch Android 4.0-based Nexus Prime on October 19 at Hong Kong.

Coming Soon An Improved Aakash 2 Tablet

Aakash 2 tablet will be launched in February 2012. HRD minister Kapil Sibal said “We expect to launch the new version of Aakash by January-February next year”. The new Aakash will have the same price as the old one, Rs 2,276. It will have an 800Mhz processor as compared to the present 366Mhz processor, 1GB of RAM more than than present 256MB one. Aakash 2 will also have an front facing camera for video chatting and an better 7 inch display.

Intel, Micron Announces 128GB NAND Flash Chip

Intel and Micron Technology, Inc announced a new NAND flash chip. The flash technology is worlds first 20nm, 128Gb device. The device has 333 megatransfer per second(MT/s) speed providing cost effect solid state storage for our slim and light weight smartphones, tablets and solid state drives. The success of 20nm process is due to an new innovative cell structure that enables more aggressive cell scaling than conventional architecture. The 20nm NAND uses a planer cell structure that overcomes inherent difficulties.  The 128Gb NAND flash devices will be mass produced by first-half of  2012.
